Ella's first day out. She had a doctor's appointment. Dr. Charice says that she is doing great. She weighed 7 lb. 9 oz. and was 19 1/2 in. She only lost a little weight from birth. They had to redo her PKU test and she didn't even cry when Ms. Melanie stuck her little heel. Isn't she just beautiful, just like all of our other Johnson babies have been.

Julia and Lily each taking turns holding their new baby cousin. Lily asked her Nanny if it was worth getting stuck with those needles to have Ella. She is trying to decide if she would do all that to have a baby when she gets married.

Eudora even waited up for her little sister to arrive. She was so excited even though she was ever so tired. Ella was her little sister and no one was holding her until her Mom, her Dad, and her had held her.

She kept us waiting, but Ella Kathryn entered the world at 12:48 Friday morning. There was a small crowd in the delivering room waiting for her arrival. Her Daddy and NeeNee were busy seeing about her Mommy while her Aunt Carolyn and Mandy were busy taking pictures. There were hopes of a May 4th birth so she could be born on the same day as her PawPaw Roderick, but Ella had different plans. The crowd in the waiting area, which consisted of PaPaw Rod, Granny Juanita, Aunt Donna, Debbie, Arlen, and Brett, couldn't wait for their turn to see little Ella.
